Church Family BBQ’s – sincere thanks to everyone who helped out over the last number of weeks with our Church family BBQs, all of your help was immensely appreciated by Philip and he’s really looking forward to next time!!
YOUTH FELLOWSHIP AT THE MANSE tonight (Sunday 17th Sept) 7-8:30pm – first night back of youth fellowship, easy-going night of some fun and food and chatting about what we are going to do this year. Open to anyone of secondary school age, please come along and bring a friend.
Bowling Club Agm will take place on Tuesday evening (19th Sept) at 8pm in the church hall.
Community Outreach Worker – applications have now closed and we are pleased to announce that we have two candidates who have applied. Please pray for the interviewing panel and the candidates as we move forward.
Mid week Bible study on Wednesday 20th September – at Helen’s 7:45pm. For the next while we will be looking at the book of Colossians.
Taking Care vetting forms. For those who have completed Taking Care revetting child protection forms please keep an eye on your email and check spam email for further instructions.
For those who need to be vetted fully for first time, please return forms asap to Philip so that he can schedule interviews.
Child Protection/Taking Care Training for Donegal Presbytery. Refresher and foundation taking care/child protection training. Wednesday 27th 7:30pm @ Donoughmore PC F93 DK40 – it is vital that as many people as possible attend this. There will be no midweek to facilitate a group going – try to share lifts as possible.
KNOWHEAD MEMORIAL HALL CENTENARY REFURBISHMENT SERVICE
Knowhead Presbyterian Church invites you to a service of thanksgiving on
Sunday 24th September at 7.30pm, to mark the completion of the Knowhead
Memorial Hall centenary refurbishment programme, and the official reopening of
the hall for use again.
Derry & Donegal Presbytery Education Award Scheme. This scheme offers education grants to young people who are members of a Donegal Congregation of PCI to assist with expenses for first year secondary school and for third level education. Application forms are available from your minister, clerk of session or representative elder. The closing date for receipt of completed applications is: Friday 6th October 2023.
