Youth ministry discussion….Provisional Meeting for Youth Ministry Discussion and Garda Vetting: is Tuesday 6th June, Carndonagh Church @ 7pm. If there are any difficulties with this date please let Philip know. For those who have been vetted in the past, revetting is a relatively straightforward process, for those who have not been vetted before there is a different pathway to follow which will be discussed on the night. If you have been vetted before please collect a form from Philip and bring the necessary documents on the night (copies if possible as well, though Philip can arrange that without difficulty).

Holiday Bible Club 2023 @ Greeenbank from 3rd – 7th July 6-8pm: We are pleased to confirm that the folk from Newmills will be joining us again this year for our Holiday Bible Club. This is for children aged 4-12 years to attend and enjoy but we would love if some of our own folk would be able to help out during the week. Please speak to Philip if you can help out. 
Advertising/consent forms etc will be available shortly 

Good as New Shop:  The Good as New Shop (in aid of church funds) continues at Pound St. Carndonagh (next door to Neal Doherty Auctioneers in Carndonagh).  The shop will be open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm. Your help with sessions at the shop and donations of items to sell in the shop would be most appreciated

Pray for Lincoln as he prepares to arrive with us and settle in with our faith family for a number of weeks. Lincoln to arrive this morning into Dublin.

Pray for preparations for the General Assembly. The General Assembly is the major decision gathering of the PCI and will be held on the 21-24 June.
As you spend time asking the Lord for things, always make sure to take time to thank Him for who He is and what He has done.

Direction/Travel – how do we get there?

In-Service Training: Every year for the first five years after ordination ministers are required to attend in-service training. Ministers are encouraged to take one of the Sunday’s either before or after off from normal

duties to allow for a time of reflection. As such Philip will be in Belfast from Saturday 13th May to Thursday/Friday 18th/19th. He will be available in case of emergency through email or mobile.

Remembrance service: The management, staff and chaplains of Letterkenny University Hospital invite you to their annual ecumenical service of remembrance for families who have lost their babies through miscarriage, neonatal death and stillbirth and for those who have suffered the death of a child. This service will take place in the Church of the Irish Martyrs today (Sunday the 14th May) at 3pm

Brian Rankin, a poet-farmer will be with us providing a recital of his poems and sharing about the charity work he supports in Uganda. He will have some of his books available for purchase on the night, and the proceeds from these sales go towards supporting these charities. Supper will be served afterwards. There will also be door wreathes and home produce, such as jams and chutneys for sale, which have been made by the PW group and the money from these will go towards supporting mission at home and overseas.

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Gerry Campbell on Thursday. His funeral will take place this afternoon leaving his home at 2pm for service of thanksgiving at Hillhead.  We pray for Roisin and the wider family circle today and the days ahead as they go through the difficult journey of grief.
