Service next Sunday will be conducted by Rev Drew Abernethy and will include an act of remembrance.

Final Harvest thanksgiving service for this season
Tonight @ Greenbank  @ 7:30pm – Speaker will be Rev. Gordy McCracken and the praise will be led by members of Ray PC.  Supper afterwards in the hall.

Midweek Prayer Meeting on- Wednesday 8th November @ 8pm @ Kathleen & James Steele’s home.  No mid week bible study at manse as Philip has presbytery eldership training.

Church committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday 9th November at 7.30pm.  Agenda items to Linda or Philip by this Wed 8th Nov.

Andy Lamberton Book Launch – Letter for Exiles: Saturday 18th November @ 7:30pm Fahan PC. Join Andy and friends for an evening of stories, songs and conversation on faithful living in a faithless world. Richard Ferguson will MC, worship led by Aileen Humphreys and band. Music from Adam Montgomery. Tea served after service.  Book on sale £/ €8.  It would be great to see as many people as possible go to support Andy in his latest endeavour.

Community Outreach Worker   A panel compromising an elder from each church and Philip interviewed a candidate for the post of Community Outreach worker for the Inishowen Four group of churches on Tuesday 17th of October. After much prayer and deliberation, the proposal was made to the Session NOT to offer the post to this candidate. Please do continue to pray for this venture as we try to find a way forward.

Presbyterian Children’s Society: Collections are currently being taken for the PCS, please do give generously to this most worthwhile charity which is part of our denomination. Donations can be placed in an envelope marked PCS and placed on collection plates in the porch over the coming weeks.

Philip Annual Leave As part of an agreement made with the Sessions concerning his extra studies, Philip has some annual leave left to take. He will be off from the 17th to the 26th of November.   

Taking Care vetting forms. For those who have completed Taking Care revetting child protection forms please keep an eye on your email and check spam email for further instructions.

For those who need to be vetted fully for first time, please return forms asap to Philip so that he can schedule interviews.
