Ulster University Choir 50th Anniversary Concerts: Tuesday 14th May, St. Patrick’s Church, Derry, 7:30pm / Thursday 16th May, Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh, 7:30pm. Admission is free with retiring collection.
Friday 17th May, Battles Christians Face, Cadogan Park, Belfast, 8-10pm: Rev. Ray Ortlund will be speaking about the Christians’ battle with temptation. This is is an event for teenagers but is probably suited more to the 15-20 range considering its topic. Please let Philip know if you would like to attend. This invitation has been sent to other folks and if enough interest, Philip will try to book a bus – let him know by Wednesday at the latest.

Post-ordination Training: Each year for the first five years after ordination ministers are required to participate in training. Ministers are advised to take the week as free from the regular duties of ministry as possible while they attend the conference in Assembly Buildings. As such Philip will be in Lisburn/Belfast 20-24th of May.
New Series Resource Book Bargain Deal: At the start of our new series on the Ten Commandments Philip mentioned some available resources: Kevin DeYoung’s “The Ten Commandments” and Jen Wilkin’s “Ten Words to Live By.” Philip has struck a deal with his book supplier for 50 copies of Jen’s book for €5 each (RRP.£10.99/€12) Please let Philip know if you would like one, they will be available from next week.

Good as New Shop
The Good as New Shop in aid of church funds is now open in the premises beside Neal Doherty Auctioneers. The shop will be open Mon-Sat from 10am -5pm.
If you can do a session or a couple of hours at the shop or help with tidying up in the evening that would be great. Please contact Sandra or call into the shop. Also, any donations of clothes and other items to sell in the shop would be greatly appreciated.
