We are looking forward to an excellent CONNECT WEEK this year from tomorrow 15th-21st July 2024! Including Children’s Bible Club and Family Fun Day!

Everyone is welcome / all free. We have a team of volunteers joining us from Coleraine which enables us to put on a more extensive programme. A couple of notable additions: we have a Parents and Tots running parallel to our Children’s Bible Club and an evening of gospel music (for all the old timers!) entitled Songs and Stories, on the Wednesday evening.

Service next Sunday (7th July) will be a Joint Holiday Bible Club Family Service @ Greenbank Hall @12noon. [No services in Moville, Carndonagh or Malin Meeting Houses] Last year we tried to capitalise on our HBC by having a joint family service in Greenbank Hall. The joint sessions agreed to this again and we hope to follow the same pattern. I’d like to suggest that we do the same as last year with tea/coffee/juice and hot dogs after.**

Holiday Bible Club – Our holiday bible club will run this week (Monday 1st to Fri 5th July) from, 6-8pm each evening at Greenbank Hall.

YF at the Manse tonight (Sunday 19th May) 7-8:30pm – finishing up the last chapter of our book. Food provided.

Post-ordination TrainingEach year for the first five years after ordination ministers are required to participate in training. Ministers are advised to take the week as free from the regular duties of ministry as possible while they attend the conference in Assembly Buildings. As such Philip will be in Lisburn/Belfast 20-24th of May.

No Midweek at the Manse – Due to Philip being at Post-ordination training there will be no Midweek at the manse. Next Midweek at the manse, 29th May.

Ulster University Choir 50th Anniversary Concerts: Tuesday 14th May, St. Patrick’s Church, Derry, 7:30pm / Thursday 16th May, Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh, 7:30pm. Admission is free with retiring collection.

Friday 17th May, Battles Christians Face, Cadogan Park, Belfast, 8-10pm: Rev. Ray Ortlund will be speaking about the Christians’ battle with temptation. This is is an event for teenagers but is probably suited more to the 15-20 range considering its topic. Please let Philip know if you would like to attend. This invitation has been sent to other folks and if enough interest, Philip will try to book a bus – let him know by Wednesday at the latest.

Saturday 18th May – Fahan Youth Fellowship Football & BBQ, 7-9pm: Please let Philip know if you would like to attend. 

Saturday 18th May @ 10am Prayer Brunch – Moville Manse. Please come along to pray for our churches, our community, our world and ourselves!

Sunday 19th May – YF at the Manse 7-8:30pm – finishing up the last chapter of our book. Food provided.

Post-ordination TrainingEach year for the first five years after ordination ministers are required to participate in training. Ministers are advised to take the week as free from the regular duties of ministry as possible while they attend the conference in Assembly Buildings. As such Philip will be in Lisburn/Belfast 20-24th of May.

New Series Resource Book Bargain Deal: At the start of our new series on the Ten Commandments Philip mentioned some available resources: Kevin DeYoung’s “The Ten Commandments” and Jen Wilkin’s “Ten Words to Live By.” Philip has struck a deal with his book supplier for 50 copies of Jen’s book for €5 each (RRP.£10.99/€12) Please let Philip know if you would like one, they will be available from next week.

Good as New Shop

The Good as New Shop in aid of church funds is now open in the premises beside Neal Doherty Auctioneers.  The shop will be open Mon-Sat from 10am -5pm. 

If you can do a session or a couple of hours at the shop or help with tidying up in the evening that would be great.  Please contact Sandra or call into the shop.  Also, any donations of clothes and other items to sell in the shop would be greatly appreciated.
