Harvest Thanksgiving service in Greenbank Presbyterian Church tonight at 7.30pm. The speaker is Rev. Noel Ward and Donegal Presbytery choir will lead the praise. Everyone is invited to supper in the hall afterwards.

Cottage Youth this evening will be leaving Carndonagh at 4pm and going to the Venue in Letterkenny for games and food and there after heading to Donegal Youth Convention for 7:30pm it will finish before 10. Please let any leader know who’s going for so as to arrange cars. Hope you can come. There is no money needed except if you want buy anything at the Venue or uptown.

 Badminton Club AGM will take place in hall tomorrow evening at 9pm

 Cottage Youth (Youth Fellowship) are having a ‘StayOver’ at the Cottage from 1pm on Wednesday 30th October till 1pm on Thursday 31st October. It will be a great time of fun, fellowship, worship, games, movies and probably not much sleep:). The cost is €10. You will also have the option of going after cottage on the Thursday to Xtreme Jump in Derry for a whole lot of bouncing and some food at an extra cost. Age is 13+ and consent forms are in the porch or from any leader. Please message Cottage Youth or text 087-6811586 if you are going. It gonna be a blast………..

Hillhead Church Committee meeting rescheduled for next Thursday 17th October at 8pm

Harvest Thanksgiving Service in Fahan Presbyterian Church this evening at 7.30pm.The guest speaker on this, the 300th Anniversary year, will be the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, Rt. Rev. Dr. William Henry. Combined choir from a number of our ‘Historic Sister Churches’. Everyone is encouraged to stay afterwards for supper in the Church Hall. There will be a collection for Church Funds.

Together: (hosted by Genesis Project). A time for the local church to unify in worship & prayer on Saturday 19th October at 7pm in The Staion House Hotel Letterkenny. Donations & Collection in aid of The Domestic Violence Unit.

Thank you to all who provided flowers & produce and came along on Friday night to decorate the church.  Thank you also to the musicians, readers & soloist for their preparation for the service today.

It is with deep regret that we learned this week of the death of our Senior Minister Rev Dr John Lappin.  His funeral took place on Friday at Malin Presbyterian Church. The congregation extend our deepest sympathies to Mildred and the family circle and pray that God will richly bless them at this time.

 Prayer ministry training course: For those who want to learn how to pray for others.  Fahan Presbyterian Church are hosting a Prayer Ministry training course in October 2019. (Friday 4th & Saturday 5th and Friday 18th & Sat 19th Oct). It will be led by Rev Dr Derek J McKelvey (D.V.) over six sessions later this year. Christmas exhibition in Fahan Presbyterian Church Hall. Sunday 15th to Sunday 22nd December 2019. Open Daily from 10:00 am (except Sundays – opens at 2pm). Walk down the street of ancient Bethlehem. Learn about life 2,000 years ago.

Visit the local shops and meet the proprietors in full costume. Watch out for our Roman Census taker and be sure to have your ‘passport’
stamped to claim a reward. Great for the children.

Try out the Potters Wheel and see the ancient weavers loom. Children will be
able to exchange their passport for a goody bag. Colouring competition
for the children. Many artefacts from The Holy Land on display.
Visit the stable and manger scene.

Afterwards be sure to visit Bethlehem Inn for free Tea and Coffee.  Special Christmas Carol service at the conclusion on
Sunday 22nd December at 7.30pm.

Free entrance for all comers. (Any voluntary donations to Missionary project in Romania)
