 Genesis  Project Days of Prayer from Sunday 26th of May – Tuesday 28th of May@ Issy’s Cottage Carndonagh .   We want to invite you all to join with us as we pray for the summer ahead. we want to pray specifically for all the work and events happening in the North-West this summer and for the young people of the North-West, but also anything and everything that is on your heart. You and your church are more than welcome to come along and join us throughout these few days, it would be a great privilege to pray with you and the ministry that you are involved in! Laying of Foundation Stone. Rev Alison Gallagher & congregations of Inishowen Methodist Churches extend a warm invitation to a special service for ‘Laying of a foundation stone’ of their new hall in Moville by Rev William Davison (President of the Methodist Church in Ireland) on Saturday 25th May 2019 at 4pm.  The service will take place in St Pius X Moville.  RSVP to Rev Alison Gallagher Methodist Manse Moville. alison.gallagher@irishmethodist.org

Good As New Shop.  The annual Good as New Shop in aid of church funds will be open for the next number of weeks in Farren’s premises Pound Street.  If you can take on to cover a session at the shop either on a regular or occasional basis that would be great,-please ring/text Helen or Sandra.  Any items for sale would be most appreciated.

Variety Concert in Greenbank Hall on Mon 3rd June 7.30pm in aid of Beaver Away junior school Uganda. Performances by Leslie Matthews & his band, Shunie Crampsey, Stewart Buchanan, Neil McLaughlin, Paddy McCartney, McKinley Girls, John McGeoghegan, Ann Cavanagh & many other artistes. Admission €10 including light refreshments.

Moderators appeal ‘Cyclone Adai Special Appeal’  The Moderator has launched a special church appeal for those affected by Cyclone Idai.  The cyclone which swept through Mozambique, Malawi & Zimbabwe a few weeks ago caused severe flooding and major loss of life.  The Presbyterian Church in Ireland will be sending an initial €69,192 to its partners working on the ground and has asked members to respond prayerfully and generously.  There will be a retiring offering today or you may place your donation in an envelope.

Social:  Thank you to all who came along and helped with the organisation of the Social on Friday night which was in aid of Patients Comfort fund Ard Aoibhinn Dementia Unit at Carndonagh Community Hospital.  Thank you to those who provided food and served the supper.

Thank you to all the young people who are participating in our service today and thanks also to the Sunday school team for their support.  Many thanks also to the instrumental group who are leading the praise.

United Easter Praise Service in Greenbank Hall on tonight at 7.30pm.  The service will be led by members of the 4 congregations and the format is music focused with soloists and singing group along with readings, poetry and epilogue by Rev David Latimer.  Retiring offering in aid of the Newmills team Burma Project.  Refreshments after the service.  Everyone very welcome.

Celebration of Easter: Praise Service at Greenbank next Sunday (Easter Day) at 7.30pm.  In preparation for this service there will be a practice in Greenbank on next Thursday evening at 7.30pm for anyone who would like to be part of praise group.

New communicants  Rev Latimer will meet with new communicants in Greenbank today @ 2,30pm. The class will finish no later than 4.30pm.

Easter Coffee Morning and Cake Stall in Fahan Presbyterian Church Hall on Wednesday 17th April from 11am to 1pm.There is no charge for admission or tea. Box for donations at door. Proceeds divided 50% to Romanian Ministries and 50% to Church Funds.

An evening of Metrical Psalms. Praise evening led by Derry and Donegal Presbytery Choir in Fahan Presbyterian Church tonight Sunday 31st March at 7.30pm. Fifty percent of the collection will go to Romanian Ministries (our nominated charity for 2019) and fifty percent to Church funds.
Please join us for a time of praise followed by tea in the Hall.

Mid Week bible study at Howard & Helen’s Holiday Cottage Malin on Wednesday evening  (3rd April) at 8pm.  It is planned to study Psalms 20-29.  All welcome.

Please join us to give thanks to God for all the good things that have happened in the hall over the years before demolition begins at the end of the month and to pray God’s blessing on the construction of the new hall. If you have any photos of events that took place in the hall please could we borrow them. We need them by the evening of Friday 15th and you can leave them with Rev. Alison Gallagher at the Methodist manse.

REBOOT Belfast is on Saturday 23rd March. Last year Presbytery organised a bus to the event plus others went in cars. A bus is been organised again this year. It is an excellent event for young people to ask whatever questions they have about faith. Those who attended last year felt it was an excellent event both in purpose and organisation. To get an idea of the size of bus please let Maurice (083-1424205) or Austin (087-6811586) know if planning to attend to get an idea of numbers. There are a number of tickets available at a discounted rate.
