Gordon Best and the team will be leading the Holiday Bible Club again this year in Greenbank each evening for the first week in July.  A BBQ will be held at Hillhead on Saturday 2nd July to welcome the team at approx. 6pm.  Gordon and members of the team will be leading the service on Sunday 3rd July.

Open Invitation to Fellowship Breakfast Meeting at Issy’s Cottage, Carndonagh on Saturday 25th June at 10am.

 Christian youthwork started at the cottage in Janurary 2016. The cottage is being made available for Christian Youthwork in the area, it will be an opportunity to share about the work so far and exchange the vision for the cottage to expand and continue the work further.

Please feel free to invite anyone who has an interest in Christian youthwork in your Church/Fellowship to attend.

Evening of song and praise in Moville Methodist Hall this evening at 7.30pm, organised by the Methodist churches. A warm welcome is extended to everyone for an evening of singing old favourite hymns and contemporary songs. Tea/coffee afterwards.

Youth Fellowship will meet this evening at Issy’s Cottage from 7-9pm.  Everyone of secondary school age most welcome.

 

Coffee Morning: Everyone is welcome to a coffee morning been held in Hillhead Church Hall next Saturday the 4th June from 10am till 12:30pm in support of Exodus Team 37 going to Poland in July this summer. (Zoe Stewart going with team).  Cakes also on sale.

 Message from Amy Stewart: I would like to thank all who came, supported and kindly donated to our Praise Night last Sunday in support of Exodus Team 41 going to Hungary. We have raised a total of €528 and £87.

Presbytery Service of Prayer for the Sick in Greenbank Church this afternoon at 3.30pm . Speaker: Mr Robert Alcorn

 A Praise Service in support of Exodus Team 41 going to Hungary in which Amy Stewart is also going, will be held in the Hillhead Hall, Carndonagh this evening at 7pm. It promises to be an excellent evening of quality musical talent and joyful Worship. Light Refreshments afterwards gives an opportunity for fellowship and a chat with the team. Your attendance would be very much appreciated.

Teddy bear’s picnic in Greenbank Hall  on Saturday 14th May from 11am to 1pm for children of preschool age.  Come along & enjoy craft, games, face painting & food.  Viviane Bryson, ventriloquist and Cheryl with her singing puppets will be there to add to the fun on the day.

Congratulations to Kerry Doherty, Alexandra Smyth & Bethany Turner who were runners up in the Under 11 Girls team event of the Donegal Juvenile Badminton tournament held yesterday in the Aura Centre Letterkenny with teams from all of Donegal competing.  The girls were also runners up in the under 11 mixed team event.  Well Done!

Kid’s Club in Malin Church Hall next Saturday 30th April from 1.30-3pm

A coffee morning will be held next Saturday 30th  April from 11am to 2pm in Greenbank Hall, for Jade Diver who is going to volunteer in Fiji for two months with Think Pacific. She will be helping with a building project as well as teaching & coaching children in a village on a rural island that has been destroyed by the recent Cyclone Winston. All proceeds raised will go towards building supplies etc for the building project.  All welcome.

Social in Wee Hall Culdaff in (aid of Church of Ireland) this Friday 22nd April.  Admission €5 including supper.  Dancing 10pm -2am

Announcements Sunday 20th march

Service next Sunday will be our Easter All age service and will be conducted by Rev Drew Abernathy

 

Celebration of Easter Praise will be held in Greenbank Hall on Easter Sunday evening at 7.30pm.   In preparation for the service there will be a practice in Greenbank Hall on tomorrow night at 7.30pm for all who are interested in being part of the singing group.   Retiring offering will be in aid of Pieta House which will be opening shortly in Letterkenny. Refreshments after the service.  Everyone most welcome.

Easter Coffee Morning and Cake Sale in Fahan Presbyterian Church Hall this Wednesday 23rd March from 11am-1pm

 Holy Week Oasis

Oasis is open again for Holy Week —a space to be still, reflect, pray. Everyone welcome. Open from 2-6pm on Thursday 24th, Friday 25th and Saturday 26th March. You’ll find Oasis in a shop premises on the Malin Road, Moville (near the Post Office).  Hosted by Inishowen Methodist Churches.

 

A Social, in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, will be held in the Hillhead Church Hall, on Friday 1st April.  Music by The Country Boys with dancing from 9.30pm to 1.00am.  Admission including supper is €6.  All welcome.

 

Easter Dawn Walk. Devotions at James & Kathleen Steele’s house at 7am followed by a walk to Greenbank Hall for breakfast
