Service next Sunday will be a Joint Inishowen 4 family Christmas service in Moville PC at 10.30am and will be conducted by Rev Philip Poots.

New Year’s Eve.  Joint service at 12noon in Malin PC for Carndonagh & Malin congregations.  The service will be conducted by Mark Hawthorne assistant minister in New Mills PC

Congregational meeting today re the appointment of new congregational trustees for church property will be made by the members of the congregation duly qualified to vote.  Do all eligible voting members of this congregation wish to appoint the ‘THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IN IRELAND HOLDING TRUSTEE COMPANY’ to act as holding trustee for this congregation? Yes/No

DERRY/DONEGAL PRESBYTERY NEW SHEET– Within the Presbytery there is a movement to start up the Derry/Donegal News Sheet again at a cost of approximately €12/£12. Sammy Wasson from the Presbytery will be heading this up.  One thing to highlight from Sammy about this new venture: “Due to the ever-increasing work load on ministers, it is vital that it is a member of the congregation that will take on this task.” Please contact Philip or one of the elders if you have a desire to be the News Sheet representative and provide congregational content for it.

World development Appeal  & annul maintenance of grounds envelopes are available on the porch table.  Please submit by the end of the month.  Thank you.

Freewill offering contributions:  If you wish to add to your contributions please do so by the end of December.  FWO envelopes for 2024 are now in the pews or on the hall table.

Individuals appointed as trustees must be voting members of the congregation. It cannot appoint both this company and individuals as trustees of the same property.

Questions regarding the details of this change should be put to the Rev. Philip Poots prior to this meeting.

Carols by Candlelight in Moville Presbyterian Church tonight (Sunday 3rd Dec), 7.30pm.  This is always a beautiful service and hopefully this evening will be no different as we enjoy singing some beautiful carols together and listening to God’s Word as we trace the story of Redemption.Tea & mince pies afterwards in the hall.  Everyone very welcome.

Derry Donegal Presbytery meeting in Fahan on Tuesday evening (5th Dec) @ 7:30pm. Representative elders contact Philip regarding sharing lifts as per usual.

Please pray for this meeting as at it a call will be issued to the Rev. Dr Marty McNeely of Ballykeel PC, Ballymena for the congregation of Fahan and Wider Inishowen Missional Duties.

Andy Lamberton Book Launch – Letter for Exiles: next Saturday 18th November @ 7:30pm Fahan PC. Join Andy and friends for an evening of stories, songs and conversation on faithful living in a faithless world. Richard Ferguson will MC, worship led by Aileen Humphreys and band. Music from Adam Montgomery. Tea served after service.  Book on sale £/ €8.  It would be great to see as many people as possible go to support Andy in his latest endeavour.

CHANGE OF VENUE FOR PRESBYTERY MEETING FOR ELDERS ABOUT RECONGIFURATION OF MINISTRY** The meeting about reconfiguration in Ministry due to take place in Ray on Tuesday 24th October will now take place in TRINITY PC in Letterkenny @ 7:30pm. Another meeting will be held in Glendermott PC on Thursday 26th @ 7:30pm for elders who cannot attend the Tuesday meeting.
