Joint Service next Sunday will be a short Christmas Day Family Service here at Hillhead  @ 10:30am:  It would be great if the children brought something they got for Christmas with them to show us.

Philip to begin DMin Studies, 12th -26th January
Some of you may be aware that Philip has been allocated funding to start studying for a Doctorate of Ministry with Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando Florida. As part of this, he will travel to the USA once, possibly twice a year for classes using a combination of annual leave and agreed study leave with the Sessions.  During this time in January, pastoral cover will be provided by the Rev. Alastair Rosborough.

The Good as New charity shop fundraiser for Donagh National School is scheduled for next Spring – 27th February to 1st April 2023.

Greenbank Presbyterian Church harvest service this evening (6th Nov) at 7.30pm. Speaker will be Rev Philip Poots and the praise will be led by Faughanvale Choir.  Supper served in the hall afterwards. Everyone very welcome.

At all the harvest services and throughout the month there will an opportunity to donate non-perishable food items for local food banks.  If you can donate anything that would be much appreciated!

Midweek Bible Study at the Manse this Wednesday 2nd November

Back to going through Mark’s gospel, question sheets available at the back or directly from Philip. Everyone welcome from 7:30pm, aiming to start at 8pm, tea/coffee and treats provided.

Half-Term Holiday Bible Club will be led by the  Newmills team: Next Friday 4th November at Greenbank Hall from 6:45pm – 8:30pm (aiming to start at 7pm sharp) For all kids primary school age (4-11yrs) or anyone who attended HBC during the summer. Parents, Grandparents and minders welcome to stay also. Come along and enjoy singing, drama, bible story, activities, etc.  Refreshments served afterwards. Consent forms are on the porch table.

Half-term Club at Fahan Church  We are having a One-Day Bible Club over the half term break, for children aged 4-14 on Tuesday 1st November at 6:30-8pm. Fun Fun Fun……..And everyone is welcome!  Bible Stories, Games, Activities, Crafts.
Led in a kind, safe and fun manner we would love to see your children come along. It’s going to be really good!
