Service next Sunday will be conducted by Rev Drew Abernethy

Harvest Thanksgiving service in Malin Presbyterian Church this evening at 7pm. Music by Garvagh Men’s Gospel group. Supper in the hall afterwards. Everyone very welcome.

Social in Hillhead Hall this Friday 28th October. Music by A & J Sound with dancing from 9.30 -1.30am.  Tickets are €6 including supper.  Please provide usual sandwiches and tray bakes-Thank you.

Next Friday 28th  Oct at 8:00 p.m. in Newtowncunningham Presbyterian Church – Donegal Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) Fellowship meeting. You are warmly invited to come along and hear what God has been doing through CEF ministry in Donegal, and Joe Kennedy will speak on “The Spiritual Needs of Children”

Announcements 25th Sept 2016

 

Sunday 25th September (today)  – 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Carndonagh Manse – Classes commence for those interested in finding out more about full communicant membership of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.

 

Harvest thanksgiving services next Sunday at Hillhead at 10.30am and 7pm.  At the morning service the young people will be participating in various ways as well as bringing their gifts for James Connolly Day Centre.  At the Evening service the soloist will be Katie Turner.  Supper in the hall after the service.

There will be a short meeting after the service today re arrangements for decorating church.

 

Badminton AGM will take place on Monday 3rd October at 9pm

 

Joint session meeting in the Manse on Tuesday 11th October at 8pm

 

“Handling the Word” course – Several people have expressed an interest in attending a “Handling the Word” course. This course is designed to help church members who wish to learn how to prepare and deliver a Bible talk, whether it is for a Youth Group, a PW meeting, a men’s breakfast, or a church service. There is no requirement to have any experience of giving talks, although the course would benefit those who already have such experience. To run the course in Derry and Donegal Presbytery we need at least 12 people, and when we have that number or more expressing an interest, then we will make arrangements for the course which will suit as many as possible of those who want to come. The course involves 6 sessions and these can either be held on six evenings or on two Saturdays. The course costs £20 for each participant. If you may be interested please speak to Rev Stewart Glendinning.

 

 

 

 

Nothing Runs Like A Deere: Looking at the life and work of John Deere from an historical, farming, engineering and Christian perspective in Magheramason Church Hall on Friday night 30th  September at 8:00 p.m. Guest Speaker isMr George Conn from the Faith Mission. Light supper provided. All Very Welcome!

 

Blood Donors needed in Carndonagh. The Irish Blood Transfusion Service will be at Carndonagh Community School on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th October from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

An evening of Praise, Worship, Solos, Stories, Readings and a message from the Word. This evening is been entirely organised by the youth.  All ages most welcome to come along. ”
