Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper this morning

Service next Sunday will be conducted by Mr David Lennox

Mid week bible study in the Manse on Wednesday evening (4th Nov) at 8pm.  All welcome

Youth Fellowship Outing to Arena 7 in Letterkenny next Saturday 7th Nov, and then on to the Donegal Youth Convention.  Bus will leave Hillhead at 4:30pm, Moville (Methodist Hall) at 4:45pm and Greenbank at 5pm. Please let Julie Buchannan (086-3904268) or Austin Stewart (087-6811586) know if you plan to go by this Wednesday (4th Nov) please.  Cost: Arena7 is €10 including Food, Bus is €5

Earl Haig fund:  Retiring offering next Sunday (Remembrance Sunday).  Box on porch table

The Sunday Night Music series recommences on Sunday 15th Nov  in Hillhead Church when the special guests will be the Ballymoney Male Voice Choir Refreshments will be served at 7pm with the performance from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.  The Choir will perform a mixture of quiet, contemplative items, rousing Welsh hymns and spirituals, with some congregational participation.  Everyone welcome.

Carndonagh Kirk Session Meeting at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday 22 Oct

A big thank you to everyone who came along to decorate the church and many thanks also to those who provided produce and flowers.  As always the church is looking splendid for the Harvest services. Thank you also to the young people who are participating in our service this morning and thanks to their parents for their support in preparing for the service today.

Blood Donors needed in Carndonagh.  The Irish Blood Transfusion Service will be at Carndonagh Community School on Wednesday 30th September and Thursday 1st  October from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00pm. to 9:30 p.m.

Donegal Presbytery Education Awards.  This scheme offers education grants to young people in CoDonegal, to assist with expenses while attending secondary schools and third level institutions.  Application forms are available from Rev Stewart Glendinning.  Closing date for receipt of applications is 4th October.
