A warm welcome to Lee Mc Allister who is conducting the service this morning.

Service next  Sunday will be conducted by Rev Drew Abernethy

Good as New Shop opening tomorrow Monday 28th January beside Neil J. Doherty Auctioneers, Pound Street, Carndonagh in aid of Donagh National School.
The shop will be open from Monday to Saturday from 10am – 5pm for the month of February. Donations and your support will be much appreciated.

Evening celebration with combined choir & Bridget Taylor the Mother of International Boxer Katie Taylor sharing about her faith @ 7.30pm

 Mon 28th January:

Celebration at 8.00pm including acknowledgement of local community organisations.

Tuesday 29th January:.

Celebration at 8pm with GP Dr. Walter Boyd speaking on “Depression”.

 Wednesday 30th January:

Celebration @ 8.00pm including items from soloist Jamie Williamson of New Irish Arts

 Thursday 31st January:

Celebration @ 8pm with Londonderry Male Voice Choir sharing.

 Friday 1st February:

Celebration @ 8pm when farmer George Barkley will relate how God has supported him through times of difficulty.

 Saturday 2nd February:

Praise night with. Ballybay Country Gospel Group @ 7.30pm

 Sunday 3rd February:

Anniversary Morning service @ 10am

Closing service @ 7.30pm with ministry in song by the Combined Men’s Choir of Mountnorris and Tullyallen Presbyterian Churches

Mid week bible study will be held at Helen & Howards cottage at Malin this Wednesday 23rd Jan at 8pm. All welcome.

As part of mission week at Fahan Presbyterian Church an Adventure Club (Kids Club) for primary school children will be held  next Saturday 26th Jan from 11 to 1pm and will be led by Eugene from CEF. This is a free event and includes bouncy castle, games & BBQ.

BLOOD DONATION CLINIC

Date: Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th January

Time: 2.30pm – 5pm and 7pm – 9.30pm

Venue: Carndonagh Community School.

The Mc Cormack Story (By George Conn) next Saturday 19th January in Fahan Presbyterian Church at 7.30pm.  This is a free event covering the history of the famous  Mc Comack brand told in a Christian context

Gensis Project are holding a few days of prayer from Sunday 6th of January – Wednesday 9th of January @ Issy’s Cottage Carndonagh .We want to invite you all to join with us as we pray for the year ahead. we want to pray for specifically all the kingdom work in the North-West this includes churches, outreaches and other ministries, and  for the young people of the North-West, but also anything and everything that is on your heart. you and your church are more than welcome to come along and join us throughout these few days it would be a great privilege to pray for you and the ministry that you are involved in.  If you are not able to make it to any of the times but would like prayer please email or message us how we can pray for you!

WITHIN. All ladies of all generations from age 15 are invited to WITHIN ladies breakfast which will be held in Izzy’s Cottage in Carndonagh next Friday January 4th  at 10am. There will be food, tea, coffee and fellowship followed by a short talk. Whether you are a great woman of faith or a woman of curiosity you will be most welcome to join us. Information from Rev A Rosborough regarding church membership classes (communicant classes)

Classes to begin in January (DV) and run through to late February or early March, in good time for admission to the Lord’s Table for Easter/ Spring Communion, depending on the practice of the particular congregation

Points for those considering membership:

  1. At least 14 years old (in their third year at ROI secondary school)
  2. Have sat in on at least one Communion service (not taking part, but observing what goes on) before the classes begin. If they haven’t done so, then they should be invited to the next Communion service.
  3. Have attended Sunday School and be familiar with the Lord’s Prayer and 10 commandments.

A night of Christmas songs & Carols with Crescendo Community Choir will be held in St Columba’s Church Drung on tomorrow evening 17th December at 7.30pm.  Everyone welcome to come along and enjoy the music.  Admission free.  Donations in aid of Kidney Dialysis welcome.
