Update on Rev. Jon

The Rev. Jon will be able to join us from April to June in a reduced capacity. He will be serving in Strabane and Sion for the month of March and will arrive with us in April. Please pray for him and his family as they settle in.

If anyone would have spare bicycles they could lend Jon, his wife and three kids for their time here that would be immensely appreciated.

Please continue to pray for Rev. Marty McNeely and his wife, Julie, and children, Joshua and Martha.
Pray for Fahan congregation on the recent announcement of Marty’s resignation.
Pray for those who have had bereavements within their family circles recently. 
Pray for those attending communicants classes that this will be a time in which faith can develop and deepen.

This summer, in June and July, we will also host another student from RTS.

These classes will be for anyone considering membership or transferring membership or for anyone who wants to know more about what it means to be a Christian, a Presbyterian, and what it means to come to the Lord’s Table.
Please note that one prerequisite of these classes in anticipation for coming to the Lord’s Table and into full membership is current regular attendance at worship. However, the classes are open to all interested in exploring or investigating Christianity from a Reformed perspective.

New Year Dinner in Greenbank Hall.  Friday 7th February at 7pm.  It is a 3 course meal with a choice of mains being Roast Beef or Turkey & Ham. New Year Dinner in Greenbank Hall.  Friday 7th February at 7pm.  It is a 3 course meal with a choice of mains being Roast Beef or Turkey & Ham. Cost is €25 per adult and €10 for under 16’s.  Everyone is welcome, however early book is essential as places are limited.  To book please telephone or text Leta on 0879218922 or email hlallison@outlook.ie.  Please do not leave a voice mail message.  The closing date for booking is Tuesday 4th February, although places may be filled before then.  Please also state your main course choice and any dietary requirements  when booking.  Proceeds in aid of the property fund.

Carndonagh Whatsapp Group – We are looking to set up a Hillhead Whatsapp group to help arrange and publicise activities. To comply with GDPR regulations please add your details to the sheet available in the porch.

Membership / Communicant Classes:

Philip has had folks talk to him recently about membership/communicant classes and he envisages starting these in the New Year. These classes will be for anyone considering membership or transferring membership who want to know more about what it means to be a Christian, a Presbyterian, and what it means to come to the Lord’s Table. Please note that one prerequisite of these classes is regular attendance at worship.

First Class – Sunday 2nd February 3pm at the Moville Manse.
