Carndonagh & Malin Youth fellowship recommences on Sunday 28th at 8pm in the hall

Derry & Donegal Presbytery Education Award Scheme – This scheme offers education grants to young people (who reside in Co. Donegal), to assist the expenses while attending secondary schools and third level institutions. Application forms are now available from Rev Stewart Glendinning. Closing date for applications is 04 Oct 2014.

 Harvest Thanksgivings services at Hillhead on Sunday 5th October at 10.30am and at 7pm.

Ulster Rugby – Tickets to the Ulster v Glasgow in Kingspan Stadium (formerly Ravenhill, Belfast) on Saturday 11th  October 2014 (K.O. 17:05) are available. West Terrace £16.20, Family Terrace £13.50 for adults and £9 for under 16’s.  This is in advance of Tuesday 18th Nov when some of the Ulster players will come to the Millennium Forum to share their stories. Please contact Rev S Glendinning if you would like a ticket. Tickets must be paid for before Wed 1st Oct.

Handling the Word – Saturday 4th & 18th October 2014, 9.30am to 3.45pm in Leckpatrick Presbyterian Church. The course is designed for church members who wish to learn how to prepare and deliver a talk from the Bible. It would be useful for anyone who gives talks to a youth group, a Presbyterian Women meeting, a Men’s Breakfast as well as someone who might have the opportunity to preach a Sunday sermon.  A charge of £20 will be made to cover the expenses involved in running the course.
