The family of the late Robert Mc Monagle wish to thank the members of the congregation for their help and support this week in particular to those who provided and served the tea in the hall after the funeral Service. This was much appreciated.
Knowhead Presbyterian Christmas Fayre on Saturday 24th November. Free admission. Cakes & tray bakes. Face painting. Logs, turf, sticks. Potatoes & veg. Toys & craft stall. Christmas stall. Jams etc
Information from Rev A Rosborough regarding church membership classes (communicant classes)
Classes to begin in January (DV) and run through to late February or early March, in good time for admission to the Lord’s Table for Easter/ Spring Communion, depending on the practice of the particular congregation
Points for those considering membership:
- At least 14 years old (in their third year at ROI secondary school)
- Have sat in on at least one Communion service (not taking part, but observing what goes on) before the classes begin. If they haven’t done so, then they should be invited to the next Communion service.
- Have attended Sunday School and be familiar with the Lord’s Prayer and 10 commandments.
