Important information re Safeguarding

We as congregations, are currently reviewing our safeguarding policies and there are a number of things  to bring to your attention:

1. The need for Garda Vetting – a lot of our Garda vetting needs updated as soon as possible. If you work with children in any capacity in the congregations, please do grab a form off me or I can send you the link for you to download yourself.

Garda Vetting will entail: completion of forms > verification/validation of ID > Interview by Session > Confirmation

2. That until Garda Vetting is completed and confirmed we might need to currently pause or at least adapt/alter some of our current practices. 

Your patience is immensely appreciated as we get updated on this essential area of our congregational life.

Philip will be giving out forms to individuals…also please contact him if you need a form.

Good As New Shop in aid of church funds.

Our Good as New shop will be opening for the months of May & June .  It is planned to set up the shop next  Saturday 2^nd May at 4.30pm.

Please bring all your good quality items of clothes, Bric a Brac, household items, books & toys to get the shop ready for opening, If anyone can help cover a shift, set up or help in any way please contact Sandra.  All help would be greatly appreciated.
