Presbytery Divine Healing Service ………..today at 3:30pm in Glendermott Presbyterian Church Hall


Communicants/Membership Classes: The first of our communicants/membership classes will be next Sunday 20th at 3pm at the manse. 

Easter Joint Evening Service – the singing group will aim to have their first practice on Thursday 24th at 7pm at Greenbank Church. If that date/time doesn’t suit or you can think of a better one please do let Philip know and he will see what he can do. Also if musicians can please make themselves known to Philip as he puts together a program for the Joint Easter Evening service.   This is for all four churches and it would be great to get a good balance of people from all four to come along.

Mission in Ireland Evening, Magheramason PC today Sunday 13th March  @ 6:30pm – there will be a Mission in Ireland evening at Magheramason Presbyterian Church. Speakers will be Tracey Nicholl a deaconess in St James’ Presbyterian Church Ballymoney and Rev Gunther Andrich, Minister in the Home Mission congregations of Irvinestown, Pettigo and Tempo.

Good as New Shop in aid of Donagh National school is open throughout the month of March beside Neil J. Doherty Auctioneers,  Carndonagh. Open Monday to Saturday from 10am –5pm.  Donations and your support most welcome.

Youth Fellowship—tonight (Sun 6th March) from 7 – 8:30pm at the Moville Manse for all young people secondary school age and up. Please bring your proximity booklet and if you can have a look at chapter 3 before hand!

Exodus Freedom Event Richill Baptist Saturday 12th March @ 7:30pm. This is for all young people of secondary school age and it would be great if we could get a carload going down for this event to engage with other churches. We will talk about this at YF so please come along.

Attention all musicians looking forward to Easter and hopefully our joint Easter evening service, Philip would like anyone with musical ability to make themselves known so that he can organise a musical group and some others pieces for that evening.

Membership/Communicant Classes – Philip is looking at starting some membership/communicant classes over March and April. These classes will aim at providing a time to talk through what it means to be a Christian, a church member and to come to the Lord’s table. They will be open to anyone of any age or stage who is looking to come into full committed membership of the church. 

If you could email/text/phone Philip to let him know if you’re interested that would be greatly appreciated and he will organise times/place in due course.

Youth Fellowship – Youth Fellowship is on again tonight  for young people of Secondary school age. It would be great to see some more young people come along from all four congregations as we continue working our way through the PCI Proximity booklet. If you’re a young person who is thinking about communicant membership this would be the sort of thing as part of committed faith life that you should be attending along with Sunday services. 
  We will have it at the manse and enjoy a bit of food together as well.

Seeing as the prayer meeting worked well at the manse on Wendesday past we are going to have the Bible study at the manse in Moville as well. Everyone is welcome and there will be a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits for you to enjoy as we open up God’s word together. Question sheets are available at the back of church or from Philip directly, just email, text or phone and he will get those to you.
  We will aim to start the study at 8pm but you’re welcome anytime from 7:30pm.

Update to COVID-19 restrictions for public worship

  • Face coverings may now be removed when members of the congregation are in a pew (or seat), at either a service of worship, Bible study, prayer meeting or business meeting, apart from when singing, when face coverings must be worn (unless exempted).
  • Members who have (or think they might have) any of the symptoms of Covid-19, or are just generally feeling unwell, should be encouraged not to come to services or other meetings.
  • A record of attendance should continue to be kept and a minimum of 1-metre social distancing should continue to be maintained between household groupings (or very slightly less between fixed pews).
  • Everyone aged 13 and over, apart from those exempted, must wear face coverings on entry and exit and when moving around. However (as noted above), face coverings may be removed when in a pew (or seat), apart from when singing, when face coverings must be worn (unless exempted).
  •
