TDDA Information Evening with S.O.C.K.S. (Save Our College, Keep Our Schools) The evening will provide an opportunity to discuss government proposals that will drastically reduce the number of Protestant Schools, with the possible closure of the teaching college. The death has taken place in England of John Cunningham formerly of Collon Hill.  Deepest sympathy to his brothers and sisters and the family circle.  His funeral will take place next Thursday in Rochester, Kent.

The recent social held in aid of Inishowen Disability Action Group raised €880.  Thanks again to all who made this a successful event

There will be a Fundraising Quiz in aid of Relay for Life in Simpsons Bar on Friday 23^rd May at 9.30pm.  Hillhead badminton members Donna, Janice and Sandra are part of a group of badminton players from County Donegal taking part in the Relay for Life event. All welcome.

Child Protection Training

Taking Care Foundation Training Event will take place in Trinity Presbyterian church on Thursday (15^th May) from 7.30-9.30pm.  This training is for new leaders for those who have never attended training sessions before or for leaders who have not had an update for some time

Service of prayer for the sick will be held in St Johnston Presbyterian Church today at 3.30pm and will be conducted by Rev Robert Buick.

The University of Ulster Choir will present ‘Cantus Animae’ tomorrow evening (12^th May) at 8pm at the Church of the sacred Heart Carndonagh.  Admission is free with a retiring offering.

Fit for Life is a  three night programme of looking after your body, mind and spirit with the ladies of Fahan Presbyterian Church.  They will be held on Monday 12^th, 19^th and 26^th May.  There will be a walk from 7-8pm   Talk & Supper 8-9pm. Speakers include: Kathy Ann Gibson, Dr E Ashenhurst and Sylvia Speer

Youth fellowship will meet tonight at 8pm in Hillhead Hall

A Celebration of Easter praise evening is planned for Easter Sunday at 7.30pm in Greenbank Hall with musical items led by the four congregations.  In preparation for this there will be a singing practice tomorrow evening in Greenbank Hall at 8pm. Another practice is scheduled for Monday 14^th April at 8pm.

This afternoon in Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny at 4pm, an Interdenominational Service of Remembrance will be held for those who suffered Miscarriages, Still-Birth and Neo-Natal deaths at Letterkenny General Hospital.

All proceeds going to Diane Cusack and the Roulstone family for their ongoing work in Malawi & Kenya. Supper will be served afterwards.  Everyone welcome.

‘One Too Many’ Information, Discussion & Open Evening – As part of the national Alcohol Awareness Week, an information evening will take place on Monday, March 31^st from 8pm – 10pm at the Plaza Buncrana.  Speakers from the Alcohol Forum, An Garda Siochana, and Counselling & Community work will be in attendance.  The open evening will have information provided and opportunities to meet and discuss the harmful effects of excessive drinking on others.  Organisations will also have information stands on the night.
