Sunday Night Music Series

The Sunday Night Music Series in the Hillhead Church tonight at 7.30pm. The musical guestst will be the Sutton Park School Choir and the Howth Church Choir, both from Dublin. They will be directed by Fionnuala Howard, formally Fionnuala McLaughlin, Ballylinn, Malin. Refreshments will be served at 7pm with the performance starting at 7.30pm.  This is the final night in this series.  Everyone welcome.

Praise Evening in Moville Presbyterian Church on Sunday 19th March at 7.30pm  Inspirational music by the Route Singers from Ballymoney.

 Reading the Psalms for all their worth Letterkenny (Trinity) and Trentagh Presbyterian Churches invite you a Bible Study in a series on the Psalms with guest speaker Desi Maxwell in Trinity Hall, Letterkenny. Saturday 18 March from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Cost is €15, payable on the day and it includes lunch. A crèche facility is also available. The series will continue on 08 April. Donegal Presbyterian Youth – Surfing Day. Join us for a day’s surfing, with Surf Project at Carrigart on Saturday 15th April from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Open to all secondary school age+ young people. Cost is €30 per person. Buses will be arranged closer to the time. A Service of praise and worship for all ages will be held tonight (5th February) in Glencrow Hall Moville at 7pm.  The service will be organised and led by youth from across Inishowen. Everyone very welcome to come along.

An evening with the Derry and Donegal Presbytery Choir in Fahan Presbyterian Church next Sunday this evening at 7.30pm.Collection to Friends of Kiwoko Hospital, Uganda with a short presentation by Murry Ferguson who is planning a short return trip to Uganda next month to assist with training in the Hospital Laboratory. Tea will be served afterwards in the Hall.

 Good as new Shop in aid of Donagh National School will be opening in Carndonagh tomorrow (beside the AIB Bank).  The Shop will be open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm for the month of February.  Donations most welcome

New Year Dinner-thank you to all who came along on Friday night and supported the event.  There was a good attendance and an enjoyable evening was had by all.

Woodbine Willie: Poet and Padre is a show produced by Searchlight, a Christian theatre company based in England, and it is running in the Waterside Theatre on Wednesday 08 February 2017 at 8.00pm. It follows the life of Rev. Geoffrey Studdert Kennedy, the man that would become known amongst his soldiers as Woodbine Willie. His remarkable life story is an inspiring story of faith on the frontline and follows the volunteer chaplain and the vital role he played on the Battlefields of Belgium in the First World War. Tickets are available from the Waterside Box Office, priced £15 (£11 if booked before 18 Jan)
