Announcements Sunday 17th April

Service next Sunday will be conducted by Rev Drew Abernathy

 Mid week bible Study in the Manse on Wednesday evening at 8pm

 Greenbank & Moville PW visitor’s night in Greenbank hall this Thursday 21st April at 7.30pm.  The speaker on the night is Joanna Tinsley, a professional artist originally from Poland, who will be sharing her story. Everyone is very welcome.

Social in Wee Hall Culdaff in (aid of Church of Ireland) this Friday 22nd April.  Admission €5 including supper.  Dancing 10pm -2am

Good as new shop for the church will be opening on Monday 25th April.  It is planned to meet to set up the shop next Friday (22nd April ) at 5.30pm.  Items will be required for sale in the shop.  Your help in providing cover for the sessions at the shop would be greatly appreciated.  If you are unable to do regular sessions at the shop you may consider an occasional session or sharing a session.  Please check the rota in the shop.

 Other notices

Saddle Rock cycling club are holding a  Walk/Cycle in aid of Motor Neuron on Sunday 24th AprilCycle sign in from 9am and leaving Boxing Club at 10am.  Walk sign on from 2pm to leave at 2.30pm.  €5 per person /€10 per family or donation accepted.  Light refreshments served afterwards in Boxing Club.  For more details contact  087 2930448

A coffee morning will be held on Saturday 30thApril from 11am to 2pm in Greenbank Hall, for Jade Diver who is going to volunteer in Fiji for two months with Think Pacific. She will be helping with a building project as well as teaching & coaching children in a village on a rural island that has been destroyed by the recent Cyclone Winston. All proceeds raised will go towards building supplies etc for the building project.  All welcome.

 Good as New Shop in aid of Croi and The Cardiothoraic Surgery Unit at Galway University Hospital will be open until Friday.

Derry and Donegal Presbytery Choir (joined by Derg Valley Choir) Annual Charity Concert in Ramelton Presbyterian Church next  Sunday 24th April at 7.30pm. To benefit the Donegal Hospice and Irish Guide dogs for the Blind. Supper in Makemie Hall. Everyone welcome.

Donegal Presbyterian Youth Surfing Day on Saturday 14th May at 9:30 a.m. in Donegal Town for secondary school age young people. Announcements Sunday 20th march

Service next Sunday will be our Easter All age service and will be conducted by Rev Drew Abernathy

 

Celebration of Easter Praise will be held in Greenbank Hall on Easter Sunday evening at 7.30pm.   In preparation for the service there will be a practice in Greenbank Hall on tomorrow night at 7.30pm for all who are interested in being part of the singing group.   Retiring offering will be in aid of Pieta House which will be opening shortly in Letterkenny. Refreshments after the service.  Everyone most welcome.

Easter Coffee Morning and Cake Sale in Fahan Presbyterian Church Hall this Wednesday 23rd March from 11am-1pm

 Holy Week Oasis

Oasis is open again for Holy Week —a space to be still, reflect, pray. Everyone welcome. Open from 2-6pm on Thursday 24th, Friday 25th and Saturday 26th March. You’ll find Oasis in a shop premises on the Malin Road, Moville (near the Post Office).  Hosted by Inishowen Methodist Churches.

 

A Social, in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, will be held in the Hillhead Church Hall, on Friday 1st April.  Music by The Country Boys with dancing from 9.30pm to 1.00am.  Admission including supper is €6.  All welcome.

 

Easter Dawn Walk. Devotions at James & Kathleen Steele’s house at 7am followed by a walk to Greenbank Hall for breakfast

There will be a Public Consultation Day on the Preliminary Flood Risk Management Options for Carndonagh, Malin, Clonmany, and Moville from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday 03 March 2016.

Options for managing flood risk have been developed for Carndonagh, Malin, Clonmany and Moville. Everyone has the opportunity to comment on these plans, and this public input will help to identify the preferred options. Irish Blood Transfusion Service will be in Carndonagh Community school on Wednesday 24th Feb & Thursday 25th Feb from 2.30-5.30pm and from 7.00-9.30pm

Youth Fellowship are going to Campsie Centre on Friday (26th Feb) for Karting (two 15 min sessions) or Paintballing(1 hour) .  Cost €20 for whichever activity chosen and includes bus.  Leaving Hillhead at 7pm.  Going to Mc Donalds afterwards (£5 approx.) Please let Linda, Julie or Austin know if you plan to go.
