Trust everyone is keeping well and staying in and yet admiring again and again the beauty of Donegal… the work of C = God is the Creator. Enjoy the beauty all around you. My thoughts and Prayers have been very with you ALL at this time. I have been reading through the Psalms and last night I was reading Psalm 31.. it begins with the words: ‘O Lord, I come to you for protection’ and it ends with these encouraging words ‘So be strong and take courage; all you who put your hope in the Lord!’  Then I turned to Psalm 33 and it ends with the words: ‘We depend on the Lord alone to save us. Only he can help us, protecting us like a shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we are trusting in his holy name. Let your unfailing love surrounds us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.’  The Lord is our refuge and strength in this time of crisis. Encourage the children to reflect on the letters of the alphabet … those greats biblical truths about our Almighty yet very personal God … 

He is our Father and he is Near.  Like many through the land and like many in the ‘4 Churches’ I am confined to the house, family not near – Craigavon; Larne; Scotland and Sheffield…  food delivered but I am taking time to pray; to read and to contact family and friends.. those calls I said to myself I would make but never seemed to get round to. (do you know that feeling). Friends I do miss you ALL but I recall the words that I have often shared with you… ‘(My/Our) Faith is being sure of what we hope for and (very) certain of what we do not see.’
